Welcome to the p4 CTF 2023 teaser

When: 13 May 2023, 11:00 UTC - 14 May 2023, 11:00 UTC
Format: online, jeopardy, team-based
Teaser Rules:
  • anyone can participate in the teaser
  • there is no team size limit during teaser
  • scoring is dynamic - challenges are worth less points more solves they have, the formula is based on the one from 35C3 CTF
  • don't attack CTF infrastructure; please report any platform vulnerabilities you find
  • don't share flags
  • don't use vulnerability scanners or dirbusters, don't bruteforce over network - it won't help
  • you can ask questions regarding challenges on the discord channel by writing private messages to voiced team members
p4 CTF onsite rules:
  • the event will take place in Katowice, 21-22 June 2023 during the CyberSec Forum conference
  • there will be a limit of 4 people per team
  • there will be additional ranking only for students, with an extra prize pool
  • you can participate in the onsite without playing the teaser

Rewards for the teaser

  • top 10 - accommodation for players during p4 CTF
  • at least top 5 teams - travel cost reimbursement
    • teams from Poland 500 PLN per player
    • teams from Europe up to 1.5k PLN per player
    • teams from outside Europe up to 2k PLN per player

Restrictions

Sponsors and conference orgs restricted teams from: Russia, China, North Korea, Iran, Pakistan, and Belarus. We would like to welcome players from all over the world, but these rules are beyond our control.
